Robbie joined PB&A in 2024 post completion of his Master's degree, brining experience in high-end residential and public architecture to the practice. Robbie is driven by the desire to improve our urban landscapes through the architecture he creates. His thesis driven by his love of the outdoors and active lifestyle, interrogated inspiring new forms that would acknowledge and celebrate nature, where the tree remains as a constant in an evolving built environment, creating a blueprint for better urban outcomes for our cities.
Hands on in his design approach, Robbie enjoys the iterative process of design and problem solving at all scales to ensure best outcome. This includes testing new construction technologies and methodologies - testing his design thinking by spending time being part of the making on site. Robbie has a keen interest in sustainability, his skillsets include training in Homestar, building performance and being part of building design policy at NZGBC.
