The water-edge building (Building B) of spacious two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses with generous outdoor spaces and broad harbour views, is targeted toward purchasers with a higher than average specific budget.
The road facing building incorporates one to two-bedroom apartments, all with generous balconies or terraces and sunlight amenity. 18 of the 33 apartments are to be marketed as ‘affordable housing’ at a capped price.
The relationship of the two buildings in terms of architectural language and materials, and visual and physical connection, was critical to the success of the design and resulted in a very high level of privacy, light and view amenity for apartments in both buildings.
The development of the project through the Urban Design process received high praise from the reviewing panel and achieved Resource Consent approval without complication or delay.
